I am currently looking at getting accepted into the TikTok Creator Rewards Program. This program pays creators money on the number of qualified views their videos receive.
The Requirements For Getting Accepted
To qualify for the TikTok Creator Rewards Program, I must meet the following requirements:
- Be of age 18 or older.
- Have 10,000 followers or more.
- Have a minimum of 100,000 valid video views in the last month.
- Have a personal account that’s in good standing. Business accounts aren’t accepted.
- Follow TikTok’s Community Guidelines.
I am over 18 years old, I have just over 22,000 followers. I have a personal account that is in good standing. I am following TikTok’s Community Guidelines.
I meet the all the above criteria apart from the 100,000 valid video views in the last month. I have around 95,000 valid views, I am hopeful that I will exceed 100,000 views within the specified time period.
I must also be located in a region where the TikTok Creator Rewards Program is available, the regions being:
- Brazil
- France
- Germany
- Japan
- Korea
- United Kingdom
- United States
I am a resident of the United Kingdom, so I also meet the above criteria. So far, so good… I am just waiting to reach over 100,000 qualified views of my videos.
How Much Can I Earn?
There are a small number of people earning over $100,000 monthly from the TikTok Creator Rewards Program.
The average monthly earnings from the TikTok Creator Rewards Program vary significantly based on factors like follower count, engagement, and content quality, but creators can potentially earn anywhere from $100 to $100,000+ monthly.
Here’s a more detailed breakdown:
- Small Creators (10K-50K followers): $100-$1,000 per month.
- Mid-Level Creators (50K-500K followers): $1,000-$10,000 per month.
- High-Level Creators (500K-1M+ followers): $10,000-$100,000+ per month.
- Earnings per 1,000 views: Creators can expect to earn between $0.40 and $8.00 per 1,000 views.
- Earnings per 1 million views: Some creators report earning anywhere from $100 to $600 per million views.
- Factors influencing earnings: Engagement metrics, video length, and adherence to TikTok’s guidelines all play a role in determining earnings.
- TikTok’s Creator Rewards Program vs. Creator Fund: The Creator Rewards Program offers significantly higher payouts than the previous Creator Fund, potentially up to 20 times more.
There are many factors involved in determining the monthly earnings. I would like to earn over $5,000 monthly to enable me to quit my current employment. I’m looking at starting as a Small Creator, with 22K followers, earning between $100 – $1,000 monthly.
My goal is to have over 100K followers and earn over $5,000 monthly from the TikTok Creator Rewards Program. Once I get accepted in the program, I will post my first months earnings on this blog.
My TikTok Growth Strategy
Currently I have just over 22,000 followers, I would like to take this to over 100,000 within the next 12 months. I want to get as many followers as I can from English speaking countries, as my content is in English.
First of all, I will have to get accepted into the TikTok Creator Rewards Program. I have met all the criteria, expect for the 100,000 video views in a month. Currently I have over 95,563 video views, I need another 4,437 video views to become eligible to be accepted into the program.
I am writing this blog post on the 23rd of March 2025, in the early hours. There are 8 days left in this month to get 4,437 or more video views to qualify for the TikTok Creator Rewards Program.
I have been posting images and video using mainly motivational templates from TikTok. I will have to start posting proper videos to get visitors to engage with my content.
Most of my videos have not broken the 500 views barrier, I will have to up the game to generate more views. I will focus on posting at least one engaging video everyday.
After posting a series of videos, I will be able to work out the niche and type of content that works best for me.
Posting videos and writing blog posts is completely different. I know my initial videos will be a little rusty, but I need to get started immediately.
My videos will start improving over time and hopefully some of them will get past the magical $1M views barrier. Let’s see how long it takes me to get one of my videos to break the 100,000 views barrier.
I Need To Improve My Time Management Skills
I am working as a corporate security officer on night-shifts. Every shift is 12 hours long and it takes me 1.5 hours each way on travelling from home to work.
I also spend 1 hours daily on getting ready for work, so in total 16 hours is spent on work. I sleep for 4 hours, another 2 hours is taken up by eating, shaving, showering….etc.
In reality, I only have 2 hours of free-time. I will need to use this wisely to build my online business. I will use 1 hour daily on building my TiKTok business, from scrolling TikTok to creating videos.
I should be able to create one video daily. The video will be created on the fly using my mobile phone. I don’t know much about lighting and video editing yet.
I am going to try and get viewers to engage with my raw videos. Currently, I am using a Huawei P30 Pro mobile phone, it is over 4 years old. The video quality is not really good, but it is sufficient to get the message out.
Maybe I can use the earnings from the TikTok Creator Rewards Program to pay for a updated phone. The cost of a latest high-spec mobile phone is around $2,000, around £1,600 in the UK.
How long will it take me to earn over $2,000 from the TikTok Creator Rewards Program?
I can only answer the above question after getting accepted into the program and seeing the first couple of months earnings.
After working 7 shifts, I get 3 or 4 days off. I will be able to create some videos during these days off and upload them gradually throughout the week.
Getting Started On My TikTok Creator Journey
Blogging about what I’m going to do and actually doing it is another thing. I know that I will have to get started immediately and start consistent to see the results.

I am a little on edge, I don’t know what to base the my first TiKToK video on. I will use the mind numbing early hours at work to figure out the topic for my video.
The video is going to be created on the fly without any editing, as I don’t know much about editing videos and also I don’t have the time to do.
I know people say that you need to learn to walk, before you learn to run. I am in a situation where I will have to learn to run before I learn to walk. I have t monetize my TiKToK videos to enable me to free up my time and the use some of this free time to learn video editing.
I’m also a little camera shy, maybe I will get some plants to hide behind whilst recording the video! I will have to break out of this camera shyness and take the bull by the horns. I can’t go on living my life from pay check to pay check. I need to take action to break out of this rut.
