1. “Until you value yourself, you will not value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.” – M. Scott Peck
If you don’t value yourself, you will never value your time. You will be asked to do things for others, as they will perceive that your time is not of much value to you.
If you want to do something constructive with your life, you need to value your time. Your time is limited and it is worth as much as the value you assign to it.
2. “I must govern the clock, not be governed by it.” – Golda Meir
Use your time constructively, don’t get used by the clock. Get out of the trading time for money trap. Find a way to use your time in a way that allows you to get the most benefit from it.
Work on ways to leverage your time, instead of letting the hours pass by without much productivity.
3. “Your greatest asset is your earning ability. Your greatest resource is your time.” – Brian Tracy
The greatest asset you have in the world is your ability to earn money. Some people will argue that money is not that important, but poverty is also not a good experience.
Time is your greatest resource, as it is limited. You cannot buy more time, but you can enjoy more of it by creating passive income streams.
4. “Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.” – Napoleon Hill
The longer you wait around for the perfect time to get started on something or to take action on something, the more time you will waste. It’s best to get started immediately and to take action immediately. I’m not saying that you should not evaluate the options, look at the options and go with the best one.
When you start waiting around for the perfect time, the perfect time does not come around, and you end up not taking any action. If you have a dream, do some research and take immediate action towards transforming it into reality.
5. “The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine.” – Mike Murdock
Your daily routine creates your future. Whatever you do on a daily basis will create the experiences and lifestyle that unfolds in your future.
If you show me your daily routine, I will be able to show you your future.
6. “Most people overestimate what they can accomplish in a year – and underestimate what they can achieve in a decade!!” – Anthony Robbins
Most people get pumped up and set one year goals to get them out of a rut that took several years to get into. I know most gurus suggest that we should set big goals, but we need to keep them realistic.
Most of us will underestimate the things that we can achieve in 10 years, as we will be thinking with a different mindset. As time progresses, our mindset will evolve along with our self-belief and skills.
Momentum will start to kick in and our goals will become faster and easier to achieve. As the saying goes “success breeds success”. Positive outcomes in one goal will lead to more success in accomplishing other goals.
7. “The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.” – Abraham Lincoln
The future comes a day at a time, we can only experience the present time. This allows us to build the future a day at at a time by focusing what we can do in the present.
8. “Time = life; therefore, waste your time and waste your life, or master your time and master your life.” – Alan Lakein
We live in a world where we experience things in a chronological order. Our time is limited, we should strive towards making the most of it. Once we start to manage our time effectively, we will move towards experiencing a better life.
9. “The most efficient way to live reasonably is every morning to make a plan of one’s day and every night to examine the results obtained.” – Alexis Carrel
If we don’t plan for success, we will be planning for failure by default. Every morning make a list of things that you want to accomplish. In the evening tick off the things that you have accomplished.
Move the remaining things onto the next days list of things to accomplish, also add other things that you want to accomplish on this list. This daily list will keep us focused on our goals.
10. “Don’t count every hour in the day. Make every hour in the day count.” – Alfred Binet
We are too busy looking at the hours we are putting into something, but what really counts as the effort we are putting in. Focused effort will enable us to cut down the number of hours we need to put into accomplish a task.
Work towards building a business that allows you to earn more per hours in the future by putting in effort in the present time.
11. “If you have time to whine and complain about something then you have the time to do something about it.” – Anthony J. D’Angelo
Stop wasting your time complaining about something and start doing something to resolve it. Most people continuously complain about their jobs, but do little to get another job. Maybe another job is not the answer, maybe you need to start building your own business.
You can carry on complaining or do something about it. If you are stuck in a job that you don’t enjoy, take a look at a business that could help you quit your current employment.
12. “Whether it’s the best of times or the worst of times, it’s the only time we’ve got.” – Art Buchwald

13. “You can’t make up for lost time. You can only do better in the future.” – Ashley Ormon
Time that is gone can never be reclaimed. You can learn from your past and utilize your time to create a better future. If you lose money, you still have a chance to make it back, if you waste time, you cannot get it back.
14. “You will never ‘find’ time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.” ~ Charles Buxton
If something is important to you, you need to find the time to do it. You cannot create more time, but you can prioritize your tasks better.
15. “To think too long about doing a thing often becomes its undoing.” – Eva Young
Over thinking can lead to analysis paralysis. Sometimes in life, you need to just get on with it, you need to just do it. Many people think too much about starting a business, others get take action. Even if they fail, the eventually reach success by failing forward.
