When people are reading my blog posts, they don’t really care about what’s happening to me, unless they can relate to it or find something in the post that is of value to them.
The Nightmare Journey To Work
I live in a small semi-urban place in Essex, called Chigwell Row. There is a good transport route and connections in place, but there are too many delays and cancellations.
The central line connecting Chigwell to Centeral London has severe delays due to train cancellations and signal failures. The bus route connecting me to the train station also has many delays and cancellations.
I purchase a monthly travel card but don’t get the most out of it. On many occasions I have to get my son to driver me to work.
As I was travelling to work this evening, the bus was delayed by 15 minutes. Once I reached the train station, there was a delay due to a customer incident on the central line. The next westbound train was show as arriving in 20 minutes, it ticked along to 15 minutes and kept on move to 15 minutes and then 16 minutes. This kept on happening for 10 minutes, there was no explanation provide as to why this was happening.
I had to phone my son to drive to the train station and drop me to work. This has become a frequent routine, luckily my son was at home or I would have had to take an Uber ride.
I know that is post will be boring for anyone that does not witness these occurrences. If you suffer a similar journey top work, you will be able to relate to the stress that I am going through.
I Need To Find Something That Requires Less Or No Journey Time
I have had enough of the stressful journey to work and the treatment at work. The employer is trying to dictate when I can take my annual leave. I am trying to book a weeks leave in August but it seems like there is too much demand for leave during July and August.
It looks like the employer wants me to take time of during the winter months and sit at home. It’s really crazy how you get treated whilst working a minimum wage job.
The stress level has really gone to the maximum. I need to get out of this toxic environment at work. The amount of cut backs and reshuffling that is going on at work is ridiculous.
The wages have not increased to keep up with the cost of living. Most of my colleagues are struggling from payday to payday. I need to find something to enable me top replace the income from my current employment fast, as there will be many cutbacks very soon.
The employer wants you to work harder to enable them to cut staff numbers, but they are not willing to increase our wages.

I have been faffing around trying to build a blog and get it monetized via AdSense. I have found that this route will take a lot of time and effort. I will continue working on this blog, but will look at building up a substantial amount of capital or monthly passive income to enable me to quit my current employment.

If I had not faced these problems at work, I would still be stuck in the comfort zone, just eating, sleeping and traveling to work.
I have finally waked up and am ready to take my life to the next level. I am grateful for the second chance that the internet has given me to create a better lifestyle for myself and my family.
