Getting Ready To Show AdSense Ads

My site is currently being reviewed by Google’s AdSense team to see if it is eligible to show ads. Let’s wait and see what the outcome will be.

I submitted my site for review by Google for AdSense just before Christmas.

Google AdSense Review Submitted

Google is showing that it may take up to 2 weeks for the review results. It would be really good to have it approved for 2023. AdSense will allow me to have another stream of revenue along with affiliate marketing to help me continue on this blogging journey.

Daily Unique Visitors

The highest number of daily unique visitors to my blog was 55 on Friday 23rd December 2022. My goals is to get the number of daily unique visitors to over 100 within the next 6 months.

Weekly Unique Visitors

The highest number of weekly unique visitors to my blog was 197 in week 5. My goals is to get the weekly unique visitors to over 1,000 within the next 6 months.

Monthly Unique Visitors

The highest number of monthly unique visitors to my blog is current 517 in December 2022. There are still 5 days left in December.

My goal is to get the monthly unique visitors to over 5,000 within the next 6 months. This will require a lot of work, but I am ready for it.

The AdSense Monetization Plan

I had this domain for a long time, but have not done much with it. I have started blogging seriously from the 27th of November 2022. I have now been blogging daily for a month now.

I have submitted my blog to Google’s AdSense team to review it. Hopefully it will get approved, as all the content on the site is written by me. I should not run into any duplicate content or copyright infringement issues.

The current plan of action is to publish one blog post daily. This takes a lot of time and effort as I am also working full-time as a security officer.

I am trying to keep every blog post to a minimum of 1,200 words in length. I had started blogging without much structure to the posts. I am now putting in headings and also images where possible.

The AdSense Dream

It would be a dream come true, if I am able to earn approximately $5,000 monthly from AdSense on this blog. This would enable me to quit my current employment and focus on this blog to take it to the next level.

The initial stage of this dream is to get accepted by AdSense. Once I am accepted for AdSense, I will know that the income potential is truly in my hands. The more relevant content that I will post, the more I will be able to earn form my blog.

I have decided to write blog posts on various niches and later on focus on the niches that are getting monetized the most.

Sometimes I start to get writers block, but the dream of getting monetized helps me to continue writing the post.

The Dream Is Real

The AdSense dream is a reality for many bloggers worldwide. Some of the top bloggers are earning in excess of $10,000 monthly in AdSense revenue from a single blog.

These bloggers have put in a lot of time and effort to get to earning this amount of money from AdSense. I have set a goal of reaching $5,000 monthly in AdSense revenue within 2 years.

Once I have reach this target amount, I will boost it to over $10,000 monthly using affiliate marketing. Some of the top bloggers are earning in excess of 100,000 monthly from a combination of advertising revenue and affiliate marketing.

Getting Indexed By Google

The real traffic to by blog will start to flow in, once the posts have been indexed by Google. I started this blog on the 27th of November 2022. The posts have not been indexed by Google yet, as there is currently little organic traffic coming in from Google.

This will start to change in 2023 as the post get indexed and more visitors start to come in from searches carried out on Google.

I am writing and uploading one post daily to my blog. In 3 months this blog will have over 90 posts and in 6 months it will have close to 200 posts.

If every post manages to bring in just 5 visitors daily, the blog could easily get 1,000 visitors daily after 6 months. Some of the posts may not bring in any visitors, but others may bring in more than 10 visitor daily.

After 6 months on average I could start to see 1,000 unique visitors coming into the blog. After a year, I could see more than 2,000 unique visitors daily to the blog.

Within in 2 years I could see over 5,000 unique visitors to the blog daily. If some of the blog posts rank high on Google, I could see over 50,000 page views to the blog daily.

The potential is there, I know it will require consistency and handwork to transform my dream into reality.

Potential AdSense Earnings

The average earnings for 1,000 page views is show on many places online as $5 to $10. If I take the average of $7.50 per 1,000 page views.

50,000 daily page views could earn me (50,000/1,000) x $7.50 = 50 x $7.5 = $375 daily

$375 x 30 = $11,250 monthly

This could potentially happen in 2 years time. Even if I manage to earn $5,000 monthly from AdSense, this will put me on target to reach my goal of earning $10,000 by combining affiliate earnings.

The earning potential is there, it is just a matter of putting in the work and remaining consistent.

Documenting My AdSense Earnings

Once my blog has been accepted by AdSense, I will start documenting my monthly earnings until I reach over $5,000 monthly.

I will document the earnings on this blog, even if the amount is low it will still be documented.

I will post an update once I get accepted by AdSense and post another update at the end of the month to reveal my earnings.

The good thing about AdSense is that you are not required to make any sales to earn commissions like affiliate marketing. Your earnings are determined by the content on your blog and the traffic your blog gets.

General blog posts will not earn much revenue from AdSense. Posts related to specific niches with advertisers willing to pay high amounts for ads will earn more AdSense revenue for you.

I will start looking at the niches that are paying out highly and start writing posts targeting these niches. Hard Work will only get you to a level, Smart Hard Work will get you to the next level.

I started writing posts on general topics, just writing about things that were on my mind. These blog posts may attract a few visitors, but they will not earn me much revenue from AdSense.

I need to start writing posts related to niches that pay highly via AdSense. I need to plan my posts and target specific keywords and key phrases.

Once I have been accepted by AdSense, I will need to plan my posts to increase my income potential. For now the goals is to get accepted into Google’s AdSense program.
